Boston police are asking the public to help identify two suspects in a Dorchester armed robbery at about 11:15 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026, near 322 Blue Hill Avenue, where one man allegedly pointed a firearm while another emptied cash and lottery registers.
District B-2 (Roxbury) officers responded to the radio call and spoke with the store victim, according to a Boston Police Department community alert posted Friday. Detectives described the suspects as two dark-skinned Hispanic males and said the pair fled down Lawrence Street toward Normandy Street after the holdup.
What Investigators Say Happened
The victim told officers that suspect No. 1 displayed a firearm and demanded money while suspect No. 2 ran behind the counter, took cash from the register, and also cleared the lottery register, police said. No injuries were detailed in the department’s public alert, which focused on identifying the men shown in accompanying investigative images.
