Apple said on Nov. 6 that the App Store has more than 100,000 apps built for the iPhone Duo, its foldable phone, two weeks after the device went on sale, The Verge reported.

What Apple said
“Today there are well over 100,000 apps built for iPhone Duo already live on the App Store,” Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of worldwide developer relations, said in a statement quoted by The Verge. She said thousands of optimized apps are being added each day.
Not every app is smooth
Some optimized apps still have problems, The Verge reported. When the Duo launched, users noted that Instagram looked messy even though Apple gave it the “Made for iPhone Duo” label, according to The Verge. Instagram chief Adam Mosseri called the Duo a “bit of a tricky form factor,” the outlet reported.
Why it matters
A foldable phone’s larger inner screen depends on apps that adapt their layouts. The pace of developer updates is an early test of whether Apple’s first foldable can match the app support of its standard iPhones. The Verge said it has also reported on screen cracks and compared the Duo with Android foldables.
