MrBeast Ball 2 Shark Tank Deal: $250k for 55%

On Shark Tank’s Season 18 premiere (aired Sept. 30), guest shark MrBeast and Beast Industries CEO Jeff Housenbold closed a MrBeast Ball 2 Shark Tank deal: $250,000 for 55% of Sperry Labs’ Ball 2, an AI-powered foam toy that never needs charging and builds custom games from voice or text prompts in a companion app.

How the MrBeast Ball 2 Shark Tank pitch played out

According to Dexerto, co-founders Andrew Brown and Kevin Langdon—first cousins from rural Pennsylvania—asked for $200,000 for 10% of Sperry Labs. Ball 2 packs sensors that measure throws, spins, and bounces; players describe a game and the app’s AI drafts rules in moments. During the pitch they demoed a live-built game called “10 Feet of Death.” The five-person team, which includes a former Electronic Arts game designer, said it had self-funded the project.

Price, sales, and the 55% close

Founders reported about $74,000 in sales from roughly 1,300 units in under six months, with a manufacturing cost near $13.29 and a $69 retail price that MrBeast flagged as a possible consumer hurdle. Team Beast opened at $300,000 for 66%, citing Walmart, Target, and Amazon distribution for the existing MrBeast Lab toy line; the sides settled at $250,000 for 55% after founders pushed for a lower equity ask. Housenbold said he could not wait to make TikToks with the balls.

Creator commerce context

The deal folds Ball 2 into a YouTube-scale toy machine and sits next to other creator-economy moves we have covered, including Live Nation Creator Nation’s live-events push, Hollywood’s Ben Affleck AI job-fear comments, and regulators’ EU look at Minecraft and Candy Crush virtual currencies. Sperry Labs’ site also highlights the Beast deal on its Shark Tank page for shoppers.

What to watch after the tank

Retail shelf space under the MrBeast Lab umbrella, whether the $69 price holds, and how fast AI-generated mini-games keep kids engaged will decide if Ball 2 is a viral one-season toy or a lasting SKU.
