Moxies Boston Seaport is a two-level restaurant and bar at 899 Congress Street, near the Leader Bank Pavilion in the Seaport District. It is the Boston location of Moxies, a restaurant brand headquartered in Vancouver and owned by Northland Properties, and it serves a broad menu of sushi, steaks, burgers, bowls and brunch, with a late-night happy hour five nights a week.

Hours

• Sunday: 10 a.m. to midnight.
• Monday to Wednesday: 11:30 a.m. to midnight.
• Thursday and Friday: 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
• Brunch: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Happy hour: Sunday to Thursday, 2 to 5 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to close.

What Is on the Menu

The Boston menu is split into sushi and raw bar, appetizers, soups and salads, handhelds, signature steaks, mains, and pastas and bowls, with vegetarian dishes marked throughout. Moxies says its steaks are USDA Prime, custom cut and aged, and cooked on a Montague grill it rates at 1,800 degrees, served with mashed or parmesan-truffle smashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Burgers use a ground chuck, brisket and short-rib blend on a buttered brioche bun, and a gluten-free bun can be substituted at no charge. Salads can be topped with grilled chicken ($8), blackened shrimp ($10) or Scottish salmon ($12).

Weekend brunch adds a build-your-own mimosa service by the bottle, from a Spanish cava ($45) up to Armand de Brignac Champagne ($560), with two juices included. The kids’ menu, for children 12 and under, includes a drink and dessert. Moxies also publishes a nutritional guide and asks diners with severe allergies to speak with a manager.

Space, Events and Parking

• Size: Moxies says the restaurant has about 10,000 square feet over two floors and can hold up to 400 people, with a first-floor dining room, a second-floor room and a second-floor patio overlooking the harbor.
• Events: it hosts corporate events, holiday parties and weddings, with full buyouts for about 350 guests standing; each booking comes with an event planner.
• Location: it is close to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the Institute of Contemporary Art and Fan Pier Park.
• Parking: Moxies refers guests to Propark for reserved and valet parking.
