Post a job: pricing
Employers can choose one of three packages. Prices are in U.S. dollars, before any applicable tax.
How it works: 1) enter your job details, 2) pay securely by card through Stripe checkout, 3) we review the paid listing, and 4) you get an approval email from contact@thebostonreport.com when it goes live for 30 days. If online payment isn’t available yet for a package, we’ll email you a payment link instead. Hiring Partners can also contact us through the advertising form.
Massachusetts pay transparency
Since Oct. 29, 2025, Massachusetts employers with 25 or more employees in the state must disclose the pay range in job postings, including postings placed through third parties, under M.G.L. c. 149, § 105F. The law defines the pay range as the annual salary or hourly wage range the employer “reasonably and in good faith expects to pay” for the position. To keep things simple, our board asks every employer, of any size, for a pay range. See the Attorney General’s pay transparency guidance for details.
Employer terms
By submitting a job, you confirm that it is a real, currently open position and that you are authorized to post it. Postings may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law, and may not ask applicants to pay fees. The Boston Report may edit listings for length and format, and may refuse or remove any listing at its discretion. If we reject a paid listing before it goes live, we refund your payment in full. Once a listing is live, fees are not refundable unless we remove it. We never display your contact email. These terms add to our Advertiser Terms.
For job seekers
Apply directly through the employer’s link on each listing. The Boston Report does not collect applications or charge job seekers. Free help is available at MassHire Career Centers and on the state’s JobQuest job site. If a listing looks suspicious, email contact@thebostonreport.com.
