Legend. OVR is EA Sports’ overall player rating (0–99) in the Madden NFL 27 Week 4 ratings update. Stat lines are for the first four games of 2026 and are blank (—) for positions where ESPN does not publish a box-score line, such as offensive linemen. Status is the injury designation ESPN lists on Oct. 11 and changes often. cmp = completions/attempts, car = carries, rec = receptions, tkl = tackles, PD = passes defended. Madden ratings can change weekly during the season.

Ratings explained

Where the ratings come from. Player ratings are EA Sports’ Madden NFL 27 overall ratings (Week 4 update). Team ratings are ESPN’s Football Power Index. Everything else on this page is a record, a date or a counting statistic.

What they are not. Madden ratings are a video-game publisher’s judgment of player ability and change during the season. FPI is a statistical model that uses only four games of 2026 data plus preseason priors, so it moves quickly. Neither is a Boston Report grade, and we do not invent ratings: where a source has no rating for a player or coach, we leave it out.

Gaps. There is no published rating for coaches or front-office staff, so those rows show records and titles only. Offensive linemen and some other positions have no ESPN stat line (—). Madden ratings change with each weekly update.
