The Patriots vs Raiders recap starts with the quarterback: Drake Maye threw for 374 yards and accounted for five touchdowns as New England beat Las Vegas, 45-17, on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, at Gillette Stadium. The Patriots (3-2) won back-to-back games for the first time this season, and they did it without a turnover from Maye.

This recap sticks to the box score and the game reports from the Associated Press, the Boston Globe and NBC Sports Boston. For our pregame look, see Patriots vs. Raiders: Week 5 Preview; for schedule, roster and stats context, visit our Patriots team page and the Boston Sports hub.

How the Patriots Pulled Away

According to the Globe’s game account, New England opened with back-to-back touchdown drives. Maye finished the first with a 35-yard throw to a wide-open DeMario Douglas, and Rhamondre Stevenson ended the second with a 5-yard run. The Raiders scored once in between, so the Patriots led 14-7 after one quarter.

A two-minute drive that ended with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Henry made it 21-7 at halftime. In the third quarter Maye hit Kyle Williams for a 34-yard touchdown to make it 28-7. After a Las Vegas field goal cut it to 28-10, Maye ran in a touchdown from 3 yards out to open the fourth quarter. Andy Borregales kicked a field goal for a 38-10 lead.

The Raiders added a short Dylan Laube touchdown run, and Maye answered with his fourth touchdown pass of the day, again to Douglas, for the 45-17 final.

Drake Maye’s Numbers

Maye completed 26 of 34 passes for 374 yards with four touchdown passes and no interceptions, plus a rushing touchdown, per the Globe and NBC Sports Boston. NBC Sports Boston reported he added 25 rushing yards, that it was his second career game with 300 or more passing yards, and that he has eight total touchdowns over the last two games after one in the first three.

NBC Sports Boston also cited ESPN Insights in reporting that Maye is the second player in Patriots history, playoffs included, with four passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in the same game. The other is Steve Grogan, in 1987.

NBC Sports Boston analyst Phil Perry said on Patriots Postgame Live, “That’s about as clean as it gets from the quarterback.” Maye credited his offensive line after the game; the outlet reported he joked he was “eating a ham sandwich” in the pocket on the touchdown to Douglas.

Kyle Williams, the Run Game and the Defense

With wide receivers A.J. Brown and Mack Hollins out of the lineup, Williams caught three passes for a career-high 91 yards and a touchdown, including a 49-yard reception in the second half, according to NBC Sports Boston. “Definitely a confidence booster,” Williams said after the game.

The Patriots rushed for 165 yards, 5.3 per carry, with Stevenson leading at 64 yards. They finished with 536 total yards, which NBC Sports Boston said is the most in a single game since Mike Vrabel became head coach in 2025.

On defense, New England sacked Kirk Cousins three times, forced a fumble and recorded eight quarterback hits, per NBC Sports Boston. Las Vegas averaged 2.1 yards per rush. The Patriots also snapped a three-game losing streak against the Raiders, the outlet reported.

Injuries and What We Don’t Know

The cost of the win may be depth. NBC Sports Boston reported that left tackle Will Campbell (knee), running back TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) and cornerback Charles Woods (shoulder) left the game and did not return. The Patriots were already missing cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis, Channing Canada and Karon Prunty.

The team has not publicly detailed the severity of those three injuries in the reports we reviewed, so we can’t say how long any of the players will be out. Brown is eligible to come off injured reserve for next week, but NBC Sports Boston said it’s unknown whether he will.

What’s Next for New England

The Patriots host the New York Jets (2-3) at Gillette Stadium in Week 6, with a 1 p.m. ET kickoff, per NBC Sports Boston. Las Vegas also fell to 3-2 after entering the day at 3-1, according to the Patriots’ game-day page.
