Rob Gronkowski, the tight end who scored more touchdowns than anyone in New England Patriots history, will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET. The free public ceremony takes place on the Patriot Place Plaza in Foxborough, outside the Patriots Hall of Fame presented by RTX, the team announced.

Fans picked Gronkowski as the Hall’s 38th inductee in a vote announced April 29. The team said he is the fourth straight inductee with at least three Super Bowl titles in New England, following receiver Julian Edelman in 2025, quarterback Tom Brady in 2024 and linebacker Mike Vrabel, now the Patriots’ head coach, in 2023.

How to watch the Rob Gronkowski Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony

Admission is free and fans of all ages are invited, according to Patriots.com. The ceremony will stream live on Patriots.com, the Patriots’ official app and the team’s official social accounts. Gronkowski will also be honored at halftime of Sunday’s home game against the Green Bay Packers; that halftime celebration will stream only on Patriots.com and the team app.

The Hall’s own guide says inductions usually include a parade of alumni and Hall of Famers in attendance, a speech by the inductee and a panel with former teammates. NESN noted that Brady is scheduled to call Sunday’s Packers game for Fox with Kevin Burkhardt, which puts him in town, though the Patriots have not confirmed that he will attend the ceremony.

By the numbers: why Gronkowski was a lock

Gronkowski spent nine seasons with the Patriots and left as the franchise’s all-time touchdown leader with 80, according to Sports Illustrated. He was a four-time first-team All-Pro, won three Super Bowls in New England and added a fourth with Tampa Bay, and was named to the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team.

Milestone Figure
Patriots touchdowns (franchise record) 80
First-team All-Pro selections 4
Super Bowl titles 4 (3 with New England, 1 with Tampa Bay)
Receiving TDs in 2011, leading the NFL 17 (first tight end to lead the league)
Super Bowl receptions / yards by a tight end 23 / 297 (most combined at the position)
Patriots Hall of Fame inductee number 38th

His 2011 season remains the peak. He caught 17 touchdown passes, becoming the first tight end to lead the NFL in receiving touchdowns, and his record for combined Super Bowl receptions (23) and yards (297) by a tight end still stands. Those figures, combined with the rings, put him in the Hall in his first year of the kind of fan vote that elected Brady and Edelman.

SI noted he will be the 32nd member honored for his time on the field, as opposed to coaches and contributors. He joins five former teammates already enshrined: Brady, Edelman, Vince Wilfork, Matt Light and Kevin Faulk, according to NESN.

A busy football weekend in Foxborough

The ceremony sets up a full weekend at Gillette Stadium. The 5-3 Patriots host the 5-3 Packers at 4:25 p.m. Sunday without receiver A.J. Brown and running back TreVeyon Henderson, who were ruled out on Friday. Our Patriots vs. Packers preview has the matchup details, and the full Patriots schedule is on our team page. What comes next for Gronk

The Patriots honor may not be his last this winter. NESN reported that Gronkowski could be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2027, which will be revealed in February. That vote is separate from the team’s Hall and has not taken place.

This is a preview of an event scheduled for Saturday afternoon. The Boston Report will not describe the ceremony’s speeches or guests until they have happened.
