Most of Lexington’s restaurants are in Lexington Center, along Massachusetts Avenue and Waltham Street near the Battle Green. Smaller clusters are in East Lexington along Massachusetts Avenue and in the plazas on Marrett Road and Woburn Street.

How we chose these places

This list starts with businesses in The Boston Report’s Lexington directory, then adds places from Google Maps business profiles checked on Oct. 22, 2026. For Lexington, we included the four restaurants in our directory and added independents with strong ratings and many reviews. Chains and highway service-plaza outlets were left out. We did not accept payment for placement, and we did not include places that Google marked as permanently or temporarily closed. Ratings and review counts are a snapshot from that date and will change.

Restaurant hours change often, especially around holidays and in winter. The hours above come from each business’s Google profile, not from the restaurant directly, so call ahead or check the restaurant’s own website before you go. If you run one of these businesses and see an error, email us and we will correct it.

Tips before you go

Lexington Center has metered street parking and a town lot behind Massachusetts Avenue. Visitors to the Battle Green fill parking quickly on weekends and on Patriots’ Day.

MBTA bus routes 62 and 76 and the town’s Lexpress bus serve Lexington Center.

Most of these restaurants are small businesses. Weekend evenings book up first; where a restaurant takes reservations, booking ahead is the safest plan. Ask about allergens directly, because menus posted online are not always current.
